Man was not designed to effectively survive independent of God. Problems born of supernatural antecedents, require supernatural solutions. Psalm 107:20 KJV He sent His Word [Jesus] and healed them and delivered them from their destructions. Proverbs 21:31 The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD. Psalm 91:3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence. Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? See also Psalm 107:26-31.

I recommend that all go through the 19 Curry Blake dht sessions on YouTube because it enhances faith.

Psalm 23:4 KJV

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Psalm 23:4 KJV paraphrase:

Yea though I walk through the valley of death, I will fear no sickness, pain, nor trauma for Thou art with me. Thy rod and Thy staff remove oppression far from me.

It says only believe. (Mark 5:36 & Luke 8:50). It doesn’t say believe if My Word seems reasonable and practicable to you.

John 6:36 KJV

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

To sickness, pain, or trauma I say, as though little David to Goliath, by confidence in the divine habitually self-sacrificing love and provision of God, you are pre-defeated for God is with me.

I do not await a manifestation prior to certainty.

Scripture is axiom.

Matthew 4:4 NKJV

But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

“It is written.” Q.E.D.

I have never understood the fascination with Dostoevsky. His fiction, which like any story is entirely made from his own imagination, is the portrait of a mind that I do not wish to delve into. Of course, as a young man I had to because the readings were assigned. But I would never read his work again voluntarily.

As an undergrad in psychology there’s a lot of research behind this and it reminds me of the Stanford experiment which had similar authority figures of prison authorities I highly recommend reading up on that experiment if you haven’t heard of it, with this talk and that experiment you can definitely see some insight to what Dostoevsky saw in this struggle of power and authority that people end up wrestling with.
