Yes one must know their daemons. Know thyself.

Speaking of daemons /shadows/background processes... This is what ties up our AI.

Fantastic essay! I've been a long-time reader and this one tops the chart.

I'd say the opposite is true too: those of Eastern descent find it hard to let go of their programming when they step into the West. They are quickly disillusioned by what they think is extreme self-centeredness, materialism, and focusing on the "outside" rather than turning inward. Motivated by status, they still make it to high-earning positions, but without letting go of their in-built collective conscious. Or they turn into the worst archetypes of their counterparts, because they only grasp it at a superficial level without the spiritual foundation their soul demands. I'd say that the happiness and fertility crisis in countries like Japan and South Korea is caused by a misapplication of Western values onto Eastern civilizations. The past success of Asian industrialization was not a result of creative freedom, but the working of a people toward a common goal. These values are not universal and don't have to be.

It inspires a great insight , which more and more western people are realizing . But I’m sure Jung had a favor for eastern cultures too and gave a lot appreciation. He wants to achieve a balance between differences and oppositions, I want to know if there a specific text about yoga so that I can refer to.

Kastrup is talking about everything Christian without mentioning it :))). His words embody the godless, shallow coward archetype Nietzsche describes.
