“If body structure and temperament are related, as anyone who studies human nature can determine, the question then is: Can one change the character of an individual without some change in the body structure and in its functional motility?”
Yes to all this. I see this 100 fold in children. In schools PE is ground down to a mere two slots a week of 45 minutes. Sometimes that slot is the teacher putting a YouTube video on. The slow and intermittent use of tech means they don’t do *physical* things anymore. More sitting, more staring at screens. My son (who is dyslexic) was discouraged from learning to hand write as ‘touch typing would help him more’. (I am ensuring he learns to write). EVERYTHING can be solved through the body. The bullying kids ? The shy kids? The hyperactive kids? Etc etc etc Get them exhausted with physical activity rooted in the physical world. THEN see what happens. So many of the problems would disappear I am sure of it.
