Great essay, thank you for your work. I think that as you pointed out in the article that devoting oneself to one’s own sphere of influence, one’s own inner state, is the most productive use of our resources and faculties. It also occurred to me that taking advantage of podcasts or video series where people analyze world events and news can also be helpful, in reasonably small doses. Intelligent analyses of news and events helps people to see behind the curtain and understand the nefarious ways the information industrial complex manipulates information and uses it as propaganda in order to control mass consciousness. One really has to experience it for oneself in order to actually get how deep the distortion goes.
Can we call it Corporate news not News! It's not News! Everything in that world is there at the financial behest of organisations that have no concern for the public other than to milk it for everything it can.its CORPORATE "NEWS". They forfeited the right to call their material NEWS.
This really rings true following the events of this week. Thank you to discerning and illuminating writers like you and also to Sasha Latypova (who shared your essay) and The Vigilant Fox and many other Substack and other authors.
